Jerome has been a writer / producer of digital content in the private, public and non-profit sectors since 2011, and a communications educator and researcher since 2017. He pioneered social media efforts for Singapore's Ministry of Transport, growing their online presence and listening capabilities.

During his time there, Jerome also organised, moderated and presented at an inaugural social media workshop to strengthen capabilities and promote knowledge-sharing across the sector. He has helped train incoming social media officers as well.
